If you don't have the time for full diver training, but would like to experience the ease and thrill of diving, join us for our full day program.

Our instructors will teach you basic theory and familiarize you with the equipment before accompanying you on a beautiful, controlled dive to limited depth in the clear waters off the island of Ko Racha.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the close supervision PADI Instructors in pool or pool-like conditions. During your adventure, you'll master some basic scuba concepts and skills and will have the opportunity to take part in an open water adventure.
This program is the ideal way to experience scuba diving without having to enroll on a full course.

Course contents

Knowledge development and equipment handling
Your instructor will use scuba gear and pictured lesson guides to introduce you to the most important rules of scuba diving. This takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
Training under water
Firstly your experienced and patient instructor will spend some time at the poolside or on the boat to give you a detailed briefing about the following training session. Under water, shallow enough to stand up in you can watch a very slow and detailed demonstration of all the necessary skills. You will then have time to practice these skills under the instructor’s direct supervision.
Diving with tropical fish and coral
Once you have mastered the required skills you can continue with the most thrilling part of the program, the underwater tour. At a depth of maximum 12 meters / 40 feet your instructor will show you a huge variety of tropical coral and fish. Barracudas, lion fish, trumpet fish, groupers, clown fish and many other marine creatures will greet you in their world. Your experienced buddy and instructor understands your problems as a beginner and will be there to assist you whilst under water.

What are the prerequisites to enroll into the program?
Everybody from the age of 10 years, who is in good healthy condition and feels comfortable in the water, can participate in ‘Discover Scuba Diving’.
When does the program start?
The boat option with two dives takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the whole year.
Which dive sites will I visit during the program?
The boat option will take you to Phi Phi Island on Mondays and Fridays or to the southern islands (Koh Racha) every Wednesday and Saturday.
How do I get to the program?
We will provide your transportation from Patong, Karon or Kata Beach.
What do I need to bring with me?
Swimsuit, towel, sun lotion and snorkel gear if you have this already.
How long does the program take?
One full day of adventure.
How deep will I dive during Discover Scuba Diving?
Maximum 12 meters / 40 feet.
What does the program include?
Your ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ program includes your transfer and rental gear as well as instructed boat or beach dives as described above.
